Film & Television Apps Performance in Ukraine: Q1 2025

In the first quarter of 2025, the top film and television applications on the unified platform in Ukraine demonstrated varied performance trends. Here’s a closer look at the metrics for each app based on Sensor Tower data.

Kyivstar TV: HD movie, cartoon saw a fluctuating trend in weekly downloads, starting the quarter with approximately 60K downloads and ending at around 24.7K. The app maintained a strong base of weekly active users, peaking at 780K in early January and stabilizing around 583K by the end of March.

MEGOGO: Live TV & movies experienced a peak in weekly revenue of $289K in late January. Weekly downloads started at 38K, declining to 12K by the end of the quarter. Active users showed a significant increase in mid-March, reaching 856K.

SWEET.TV - TV and movies maintained steady weekly revenue, peaking at $65.5K in late February. Downloads decreased from 41K to 11K over the quarter, while active users showed a gradual decline, ending March at 189K.

Netflix recorded a modest weekly revenue, fluctuating around $1K. Downloads consistently decreased from 26K to 9.6K. However, active users remained relatively stable, averaging around 200K throughout the quarter.

Loklok - Movies&TV series showed a notable increase in revenue, reaching $189 by late February. Weekly downloads started at 19K, ending at 3.3K. Active users peaked at 47K in early March before declining to 26K.
